Additional work and overtime compensation

Work exceeding the regular working hours is either additional work – or extra work – or overtime. Usually only part-time workers accumulate additional work. It is compensated with normal hourly pay. Overtime is work performed at the employer’s initiative, which exceeds the full working hours.

Overtime compensation in period-based work:
