Local organization

Local union branches – the core of SuPer’s operations – are responsible for SuPer’s local activities. Over 200 local SuPer branches throughout Finland are the most familiar with local employers and opportunities. Members decide on the activities of their local branch.

All members of SuPer belong to a local branch based on either their workplace or place of residence. Only student members do not belong to any local branch, but are direct members of the union. However, student members are welcome to participate in the activities of a local brach, and many branches hold their own annual student events.

A local branch is like a miniature version of SuPer, and as a member, you have the chance to have an impact on the types of activities that are planned in your local branch. SuPer’s local branches welcome you!
