Pay in the private sector

The terms of employment and the pay of a SuPer member working in a private sector are determined based on the private sector’s collective agreement.

The collective agreements applied in the private sector are:

  • Collective agreement for the private social services sector
  • Collective agreement for the health services sector

SuPer members also work in other private agreement sectors, such as in ambulance services and dental care and as personal assistants. Read more: Collective agreements

Collective agreement for the private social services sector

The collective agreement for the private social services sector must be followed in an employment relationship, if you are working in a private service unit in the social services sector, including private daycare centres.

Collective agreement for private health services

The collective agreement for health services sector is to be followed when you work e.g. for a private rehabilitation institution or a private hospital, clinic or health station.
